Our DJs

Jessica

Jessica has been a co-owner of M4B Radio since it first started back in 2007. She started compiling a weekly personal chart in late 2002, but didn't start sharing the charts online until the end of June 2003. She mainly listens to rock and alternative music, but also loves pop, heavy metal, and hip hop. Her favorite artists include Grace Slick, Alanis Morissette, Soundgarden, Lita Ford, and Pat Benatar.

Jessica's shows:
The Book Club (airs Sundays at 8PM EST) - A music discovery show where Jessica takes an artist/album/genre/era and listens to it for the first time, and then discusses her thoughts. This has been the station's flagship show since it's April 2016 debut and is notable for turning Jess into a major fan of artists such as Harry Chapin, Letters To Cleo, Blue Oyster Cult, and, of course, Soundgarden.

Mike

Mike, along with Jessica, co-founded M4B Radio in the summer of 2007. He started his weekly personal chart in 2015, and is mostly a fan of rock and alternative music. His favorite artists include The Beatles, Foo Fighters, Rush, Basement, and Teenage Wrist.

Mike's shows:
20Hitz (airs Saturdays at 9PM EST) - An interactive show where there is a new theme every week and listeners pick their top 20 favorite songs that fit that theme. The show originated from a friend of the station named Josh who aired it on his former radio station Fusion 102. 20Hitz is notable for having a "four-timers club" for songs that have made it to #1 on the show at least four times - those songs currently being "Hotel California" by The Eagles, "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" by Celine Dion, "Bye Bye Bye" by *NSYNC, "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams" by Green Day, "Zombie" by The Cranberries, "Wonderwall" by Oasis, "Black Hole Sun" by Soundgarden, "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" by Aerosmith, and "Hey Jude" by The Beatles.

Kim

Kim has been a DJ on the station since the 2015 revival and currently hosts the M4B Radio Top 40, which was previously hosted by DJ Jessica. He started his own weekly personal chart in 2005 that he continues to this day. He owns his own alternative radio station based out of Regina, Saskatchewan called QCIndie. His favorite artists include AC/DC, Queen, Def Leppard, Nickelback, and Ozzy Osbourne.

Kim's shows:
The Geezer Show (airs Fridays at 7PM EST) - Despite Kim's music tastes generally leaning towards hard rock and alternative, he has always had a soft spot for 60's and 70's music since childhood, and he fully embraces it on this show, notable for moments such as playing Neil Sedaka's "Bad Blood" to purposely get a reaction from Jessica, who frequently calls the song an "off key anthem", and playing the Dr. Hook novelty song "Acapulco Goldie" to a very negative reception from listeners. He also plays Susan Jacks, which he wanted me to add to this.

M4B Radio Top 40 (airs Fridays at 8PM EST) - A weekly Casey Kasem-inspired top 40 show that is based on the personal charts of the five DJs. The show was originally hosted by former DJ John from June 2018 - July 2019, then Kim took it over from August 2019 - January 2020, then after a two-months hiatus, Jessica took it over from April 2020 - February 2021, and now as of February 2021 is now hosted by Kim again. Jessica's run of the show has given us hilarious moments such as her impression of HQ Trivia host Matt Richards, her fake story about how Dua Lipa is sick of "Don't Start Now" being on the chart for seven months, and laughing while reading a story about how Brandon Flowers from The Killers felt like he wasn't good enough for acclaimed music producer Brian Eno.

Bryan

Bryan is the founder and "fearless leader" of M4B Charts Central. He has been a DJ on the station since the original run in 2007, and has made a weekly personal chart since January 1999. He loves pop music, and his favorite artists include Kate Voegele, Kelly Clarkson, Michelle Branch, Britney Spears, and Taylor Swift.

Bryan's shows:
Freaky Fly Bry's Top 40 (airs Thursdays at 9PM EST) - A weekly radio edition of Bryan's personal chart, and the best show to get your Kate Voegele fix.

Adam

Adam, like Bryan, is one of the OG DJs who has been around since the first run in 2007. Also like Bryan, he is a lover of all things pop music and has been making his own weekly personal chart since 1999. In 2012, he started a blog called POP! Goes The Charts. His favorite artists include Phil Collins, Elton John, Hall & Oates, Billy Joel, and Paul Simon.

Adam's shows:
Back When Top 10 (airs Sundays at 9PM EST) - A show where Adam counts down the top 10 songs from a chart of his choice, usually from the 80's for hour one and the 90's for hour two, and the chart can be anything from top 40 to adult contemporary to even the triple A charts! The show has been very popular since it's original run from 2005-2007 on the now-defunct Variety FM 104 (Adam revived the show on this station in November 2016), however what this broadcast is mostly well-known for is what airs after the show. When the shows ends at 11PM, Adam does a one-hour after party, and his last song when the clock strikes midnight every single time is the classic 1987 hit from Foreigner's Lou Gramm, "Midnight Blue".

This station plays so many different genres. Where else can you hear Girls Aloud followed by Alice In Chains?!

Excellent musical diversity, fantastic shows with personable DJs that remind me of the best of what is possible in radio. I would consider this the envy of all other radio stations.
