Rare FM listen live

Rare FM is UCL Union’s official student radio station, broadcasting online 24/7 from our Bloomsbury studio. Founded in 1998, we are a student run and student led station, with shows ranging from music to politics to comedy.

Information about the radio

We host nights throughout the year, such as our Launch Party and our all day music festival RareFest. We work with venues across the capital to create the best nights possible. Rare FM also organises weekly socials for members to taste music from a range of genres throughout London.

RareFM also has a music magazine, Under City Lights, which covers gigs, albums and interviews musicians from London and further afield.
