Booming sub-bass, rattling 808s and party-ready chants — the sound that rolled out of South Florida in the 1980s gets a dedicated home here. Billed as the world's first all-Bass outlet, Miami Bass FM gathers the hits that defined the 80s and 90s club and car-audio culture.

The playlist leans on genre architects such as DJ Magic Mike, Uncle Luke and The 2 Live Crew, alongside Clay D, Poison Clan and Breezy Beat MC — a lineage where hip-hop, electro and drum & bass energy meet on the dancefloor. It is programmed for listeners who grew up on Miami's bass scene, and for newcomers curious about where so much modern low-end originates.

Broadcasting from Miami around the clock, the station is easy to listen live online, whether you want nostalgia or a crash course in a distinctly regional strain of American dance music.

Takes me straight back to the block parties — 2 Live Crew and Magic Mike all day. Nothing else like it online.

There is a song that came out around 95 or 96 that was a Latin bass song that I can't find anywhere. It's not DJ Laz or Johnny Z. Sounded like the person that did That Cuban Booty. Please let me know if you know the song. I think it's a one hit
