It is owned by Cumulus Media (the second largest owner and operator of FM and AM radio stations in the United States). 92 KQRS is known under several names – KQRS-FM, 92.5 FM, KQ92 and 92 KQRS. The callsign of this radio station means Quality Radio Station. It was first launched in 1962 as KEVE-FM. In 1963-1964 they were also known as KADM.
